Every year we try to make it down to the boat parade, and this year we were ALL able to make it! I think we all enjoyed it. We found a different spot to watch it this year... and it was really nice, it wasn't so crowded. We set up our chairs and hung out for a while...

A trip to LA...
Cody and I had the opportunity to go up to the LA Temple to help put Christmas lights up. We had a lot of fun! We got to spend the day at the temple with some good friends. I really love the temple grounds there! It is so beautiful! Well, about a month later, we planned a trip back up there to check out our work all lit up. First we picked up Tyler and Becky from LAX, they were flying in the same night so it worked out perfectly! Then we made our way to the temple. The temple looked incredible! There were so many lights...

Decorating the tree...
One of my favorite things to do during Christmas time is decorate the tree! Even though putting the lights on it is a pain, its all worth it! The girls love to help me too:)

Oh... and here are some pictures of the decorated house, Jeff, Cody, Brian, and I decided we wanted it to be a Griswold Family Christmas... I think we came pretty close to it:)

Breakfast with Santa & The Polar Express!
We had a lot of fun at our primary activity this year. It was my first activity as a member of the primary presidency so it was a little hectic, but it turned out great! We had yummy donuts and hot cocoa, and fun crafts for the kids to do. I was able to go with the kids when they
went to sit on Santa's lap...

New Moon!
We were all excited for the night... opening night for New Moon! Tammy and I were the first to get there, we waited in line for a good 3-4 hours! Yes, we are dedicated fans:) The rest of the girls showed up after a while and, it was fun to just hang out and talk! We made a trip over to The Cheesecake Factory for some yummy avocado eggrolls, and enjoyed the rest of the time waiting...

Happy Halloween!
Halloween was a little different for me this year, but it was a blast. Dad left for Utah that day, so Cody & I started off the festivities by carving the "Fatal Floyd" pumpkin... since Dad wouldn't be there with us. I wasn't quite sure how it would turn out, but I think it looked pretty cool!

Jeff had a football game Halloween night, so I stayed home to pass out candy. It was strange being home alone on Halloween, but I was able to make more caramel apples and watch Batman:) Once everyone got home from the game, we got the party started! We had some friends from church come over and hang out.

And tried on lots of costumes... I realize that the Sumo costume looks a little strange on me, but it was pretty funny!
